Types of FSSAI License:
◦ FSSAI BASIC LICENSE- This license can be taken by the Food Business Owner who is having turnover less than 12 lakh.
◦ FSSAI STATE LICENSE- This license can take by the Food Business Owner who is having turnover more than 12 lakh but less than 20 crore.
◦ FSSAI CENTRAL LICENSE- This license can be taken by the Food Business Owner who is having turnover more than 20 crore.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR FSSAI LICENSE:
I. Copy of Aadhar card & PAN Card, Passport size photo of the Food Business Operator (FBO)
II. Identity proof Documents such as: Ration card, PAN Card, Passport.
III. Business constitution certificate like COI, Partnership Deed, Shop Establishment license etc.
IV. Proof of possession of business premises i.e., rental agreement.
V. List of food product manufactured or processed.
VI. Documents like NOC by municipality or panchayat (if required).
VII. Form B duly signed and completed.
VIII. List of equipment and machinery.
IX. Bank account details.
X. Name and list of equipment and machinery used and installed capacity.
RENEWAL OF LICENSE
Apply 30 days before to the expiry of the current license.
If any person forgets to renew or forget to apply 30 days before then he has to apply for fresh FSSAI license.
